EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and resolve trauma, distressing events, anxiety, and emotional blocks.
Who is EMDR for?
EMDR can help individuals who’ve experienced trauma (big or small), persistent anxiety, grief, identity-related distress, or chronic overwhelm. It’s especially powerful for LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and anyone who feels “stuck” in patterns or painful memories.

What to Expect
EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping) to help reprocess difficult memories in a safe, structured way. You stay in control—we go at your pace. EMDR is not hypnosis. I offer EMDR virtually using tools that support visual or audio stimulation during telehealth sessions. You don’t have to relive everything to heal. We’ll work together to help you release what’s been holding you back.
